Three days in April are dedicated to celebrating the food and wine of our cherished Baja Peninsula Plaza. Todos Santos will be hosting its Fifth Annual GastroVino, Baja Food and Wine Festival.

The event will begin on April 22nd and will conclude on April 24th. The most recognized and accomplished winemakers of México will be present telling their stories of viticulture adventure and the long road it has been to develop their precious juice into a crystal glass. Accompanying them will be the best chefs and restaurateurs’ of Todos Santos and also special guests from La Paz. Attendees will have the opportunity to vote anonymously for their favorite whites, rosés, reds, and bubbliest wines.

The party begins on Friday April 22, Hotel California. ‘Baja Midnight,’ will hold an interactive lecture on Mexican Viticulture history as the free-flowing celebration of springtime’s bounty as we enjoy eating and drinking. Special guest Pepe Sosa and the Todos Santos Band featuring Terry Townson will be joining us for the celebration.

Start your Saturday off with the blind wine tasting challenge; taste 12 wines with enologist from Cavas Freixenet-Viña Dolores, México. Sunday starts with a little more flavor on your tongue with a Gastrotour of more delicious food and wine. Dozen local restaurants each pair with a winery and you walk around with your emblematic glass sampling each locale’s creations. General admission includes a wine glass, 5 samples of food and 7 samples of wine. You can continue to purchase bottles and food at the event while enjoying live entertainment.

With fabulous local restaurants, Mexico’s best winemakers, world-renowned musicians and diverse silent art auction, GastroVino is a festival that cannot be missed. Ticket prices range at $550 pesos.
