A walk along the Malecon
The favorite walk of tourists and locals is the Malecón, where besides an extraordinary view of the bay and the spectacular sunsets, you can find hotels, cafes, bars, restaurants, shops and ice cream shops. The sculptural route embellishes and complements the landscape.
La Paz Cultural Center
Located on September 16 and Belisario Dominguez, in the heart of the historic center is a hundred-year-old building, and serves as a site of historical and artistic exhibitions, permanent and temporary, as well as spaces for music, artistic and theatrical performances.
Center for Popular Arts and Cultures
It is located on Madero street between May 5 and Independence. In the Old House of Government of the Territory is the Center of Popular Cultures, where art exhibitions and tradition of the State and the rest of the country are appreciated.
Cathedral (Mission of Our Lady of the Pillar of La Paz Airapí)
It can be visited in the street Revolution between May 5 and Independence. This important mission was founded by the Jesuits Juan de Ugarte and Jaime Bravo. The main façade is finished in pink quarry stone and neoclassical style. Dominating the view there are two towers flanking the entrance.
Regional Museum of Anthropology and History (INAH)

Museum of the Whale and Sciences of the Sea
Educational, cultural institution, support for scientific research and dissemination of cetaceans; operated by volunteers and students of upper secondary level and university students in social service stage. Swim with Whale Shark
Enjoy a morning with the largest fish in the world as you swim beside him to appreciate his grace and kindness. The Whale Shark likes to enjoy the warm waters of the Bay of La Paz where it feeds peacefully, giving us the opportunity to observe it closely in its natural habitat.
Located inside the Costabaja complex on the tourist corridor of La Paz, this gallery contains shells that can be found in the Sea of Cortez and an exhibition of boats of different types.
Two days a week, on Tuesdays and Saturdays, from 9 a.m. to 12 a.m., you can walk along Calle Madero a market with organic vegetables and fruits, as well as products made with natural ingredients and even enjoy a coffee while appreciating the different posts that meet that morning.
